Robert Salandra is a Managing Director and Head of Core-Plus Infrastructure at Whitehall, concentrating on private equity sponsor coverage, investment banking, and leveraged finance with a focus on industrial services, transportation & logistics, infrastructure, midstream and power.
Mr. Salandra has 28 years of project and structured finance investment experience involving over US$20 billion of closed transactions. Prior to joining Whitehall, Mr. Salandra was a Managing Director with Morgan Stanley where he led the structured lending group within commodities. Previously he was the CFO and Chief Investment Officer of Central Resources, a privately held family office. Prior to that, Mr. Salandra was a Managing Director at GE Capital where he spent a total of 18 years investing both debt and structured equity in industrial infrastructure, power, and midstream oil & gas projects. Mr. Salandra also held financial positions with Goldman Sachs and IBM Credit, and started his career as an electrical engineer for IBM.
